Visiting the site

Your browser sends information such as your IP address and the page you request. Cloudflare handles web traffic and Hetzner hosts the site in Germany. I rely on my legitimate interest in delivering and protecting the site.

The site host rotates its operational logs by size. Cloudflare may process traffic outside the European Economic Area. Its data processing terms explain the safeguards for those transfers.

Your browser saves your theme preference on this device until you change it or clear the site’s data.

Getting in touch

When you email me, I use your address and message to respond. I keep the correspondence as long as needed to handle your enquiry or meet a legal obligation. My legitimate interest is answering the people who contact me.

Booking a call

When you open the booking calendar, your browser connects to Google and sends information such as your IP address, even if you do not book. If you book a call, Google also receives the details you enter, including your name and email address.

I use the booking details to arrange the call you request. You can email me instead or contact me about deleting your booking details. Google explains how it keeps service data and how it protects international transfers.

Planned optional analytics

If I enable analytics, it will run only with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You will be able to withdraw consent at any time through Privacy choices in the footer.

Analytics helps me understand which portfolio pages people visit and which links to my products they open so I can improve the site.

Analytics can record the canonical page path, the referring site’s origin, and the destination and placement of links to my products. OpenPanel derives a pseudonymous identifier and approximate location, browser and version, operating system and device type from your IP address and browser information. A pseudonymous profile can store these details with the page path and referring site. Event records do not store raw IP addresses. Analytics does not collect email messages or booking details.

Analytics events, sessions, pseudonymous profiles and profile aliases are scheduled for deletion 25 months after creation.

Events go through Cloudflare to the OpenPanel instance I run on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany.

Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in its data processing terms.

Analytics is currently off on this site.

Your privacy rights

Contact us to ask for access to your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict its use, object to processing or request a portable copy where those rights apply. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
